GDVLC Aims:

- To work towards just and fair outcomes for victims, including where applicable, for their children and their family.
- To build community, local authority and government support for victims
- To seek a whole of community and government approach to domestic violence
- To foster innovation in the development of domestic violence programs for victims, their children and offenders
- To facilitate sector-wide communication and consultation.

First Post

The GDVLC is aiming to improve communication and networking both within the Committee and between local services - domestic violence related and more general community services. We are also hoping the blog will be an opportunity to share ideas and information and inspire each other in our work to reduce violence in the community.
